Thrift all the way

We’re ‘thrifty’ not ‘stingy’ became our catch phrase leading up to our departure from Oz.

We’ve always been ‘thrifty’ in the sense that we like to shop at the markets, we buy in bulk and online, cook at home, take lunch to work and research before buying, well, most things.

So it’s no surprise that we absolutely love thrift stores dotted across the US and Canada.

When we moved into our staff accommodation there was a few things we wanted for our room like a chair, mirror, a lamp and some other things. But being here for just a few months we didn't want to spend a lot.

We found thrift stores gave us everything we wanted in one place.

Everything from complete dinner sets (nice ones too) for $30 to couches, sporting gear, musical instraments and clothing.

We scored some great stuff in Canmore, Alberta and I just had to share!
